In a January 15th blog entry I mentioned that we'll be using a release schedule and versioning, like a real software company, to implement new features and bug fixes.
Moving forward, HyperSites customers will know exactly what changed in the software and will have a date to look forward to for new things. In the past, when a bug was fixed in code or a new feature was added, we'd commit the code then move on to the next ticket.
This was great for instant gratification, but it really made planning hard for our customers, and it made it more difficult for us to track when changes were made. Knowing exactly when changes were made to the software and when is imperative when solving problems later.
All of this is to say that we're really working hard on improving the experience at HyperSites, from the foundation (code level) to the user experience. Look for some really neat changes to our media experience and a video cast detailing new features and other interesting stuff.
