Background
ProGroup wanted to create a subscription-based website which would provide advice, discussion forums, off-line activities, forward-thinking content, and eLearning for managers working in diverse workplaces. The biggest challenge? They wanted related content to connect automatically, so if you were reading an article on Work/Life Balance, for example, links to related activities, self-assessments or discussion threads would automatically populate in the right-hand column.
Goals & Requirements
With a relatively small budget for a site of this complexity, and no technical staff on hand to manage the site, ProGroup needed a simple method of managing content on the site and needed pieces of content to be "smart" in how they pointed to each other.
They wanted to allow individual users to purchase accesss online via a credit card, but they also needed to be able to make customized versions for large corporate purchasers.
With their target customer, it was imperative to create an attractive, clean design which would lend itself to self-guided navigation.
Solutions
The Asset Manager was used extensively in this implementation.
